All About Neil
Hello and thank-you for taking the time to look at
our site and considering us to be your photographer. We look forward
to the privilege of providing you with quality photography and
superior service.
I love photography. I have been taking photos since
my teens when I received my first camera from my parents. I have
been serious about my photography since the first time my Wife told
me that I was good at it. It has steadily evolved into starting our
business in 2006.
My photography is all about telling a story. I believe that while a photo says a thousand words, photos that tell a story is a novel. Whether photos from a hiking trip or a wedding, it
is all about telling a story.
Weddings are the perfect setting for a story. From
morning preparations, to when the Bride and Groom arrive at the
church, and until the wedded couple leave for the honeymoon is one
of the greatest stories in a person's life. My goal is to capture
and present that story and emotion for you so that you will be able
to forever look at your album and say, "Yes, those were the emotions
I felt that day".
My wedding photography is geared specifically for
your album. The emotions, excitement, the details, and fun will all
be displayed in a beautifully designed custom album. YOU decide what
goes into it and how big or small your finished album is. I wish I
would have been offered an album like this when my Wife and I were
married.
For our 11th anniversary, I created an album from
the photos taken at our wedding. These photos were not the greatest
as neither my Wife or I like the posed style. When I showed the
album to my Wife, tears welled up in her eyes (all these years and
I've still got it!). You can view the album HERE.
I also surprised her a couple weeks later with a Fine Art Album made
by Graphistudio. Needless to say, she cried some more. The
power of the albums are amazing. Instead of flipping through
hundreds of photos, you get to have an album layed out exactly as
your day went. We would have traded all the proofs we received for
an album that told our wedding story. For the first time, my Wife
has something that she can hold, look at, and show people. Funny
thing is, we never did make any enlargements from our photos even
though we were given the negatives and proofs.
The album is the big difference between myself and
most wedding photographers. Most photographers charge you a fee for
shooting your wedding and then supply you with a dvd of your
photos that you can then make prints from. Chances are, the only
photos you will print are some of you with your family and the Bride
and Groom together. The dvd will then be stashed somewhere and not
be seen again.
My photographic style is called Freestyle. It takes photojournalistic, traditional, and artistic photography mashed together so that we capture the story as it happens instead of making it happen
through posing. Of course the traditional formal photos will be done
as well as a short session with only the Bride and Groom.

entire story. From the engagement and wedding celebration to those
cherished family portraits with your children and pets.
